Executive Committee
The Executive Committee of the Centre for Disability Studies helps shape, coordinate, and sustain the Centre’s work. It provides the leadership and governance needed to turn the Centre’s aims into practical activity across research, teaching, partnership building, and public engagement.
Guided by the Centre’s strategic direction, the Executive Committee supports three connected areas of work:
- developing disability studies research;
- strengthening community engagement;
- extending impact and social change.
This includes supporting collaboration across disciplines, encouraging accessible and inclusive forms of knowledge exchange, and helping to build connections with disabled people’s organisations, policymakers, and wider communities.
