Call for Papers: Navigating the Changing Landscape of Disability/Studies
We will invite presentations, collective discussion and debates which engage with, challenge and provoke the principles and practice of Disability Studies - from both within or beyond the discipline.
We particularly encourage submissions that privilege the voices of those who have been marginalised and on topics that have hitherto not been the focus of Disability Studies activity. Abstracts have a 300 word limit.
- In person paper presentation: Allocated a 30 minute slot with the recommendation of a presentation of 20 minutes with 10 minutes for questions
- Pre-recorded paper presentation: A 20 minute recorded presentation published on the conference online platform.
- In-person symposium: A 60 or 90 minute collection of connected papers. An abstract for the symposia should be submitted by the symposia organiser with contributors listed as co-presenters. As part of the submission process the organiser can invite others to upload their papers which are automatically connected to the symposium.
- Pre-recorded online symposium: A collection of pre-recorded presentations published on the conference online platform.
- Panel: An in person discussion on a topic with a chair and panel members, including an opportunity for Q&A (60 or 90 minutes)
